The redaction process begins in Axon’s Redaction Studio. Part of Axon Evidence, users can open any piece of video evidence to which they have access and instantly leverage Axon’s intuitive tools to manually redact both audio and video PII.

Improve productivity
Apply manual masks that follow the assigned frame throughout the video with Object Tracker. If any errors occur simply undo or redo that specific action, keeping the integrity of the various steps of your redaction process.

Manage audio
By separating various detected audio streams, users can easily sift through and pinpoint specific moments of interest. Agencies with transcription can leverage transcribed audio to quickly search for sensitive words, such as names, to jump to that moment and manually add the mask.

Stay organized
To help you stay on top of all your redacted items, view each item at a glance in catalogue format from the Redacted Objects tab to easily jump to where that object was redacted in the video. From that tab easily assign an exemption code used for each mask and download an Exemption Log report to share alongside the extracted file.
